At our home waters at Cwmbran Boating Lake, all are welcome to come along and enjoy the marine models and other models such as cars, trucks and planes and join in with the members friendly banter.

Cwmbran Modelling Society (CMS) hope the information you find on these pages will be of use to you.

We are a Modelling Society set up by its members for all of its members and public to be able to take part and view our models lakeside by joining in and enjoy our activities.

The club is open to all types of models. Radio controlled boats, cars, tanks, trucks, planes, just to name a few.

NO IC powered models are permitted on the ponds at Cwmbran Boating Lake.

CMS aways have a variation of models on display, when we sail and meet as a club on Sunday mornings between 09:00 - 12:00 and Wednesday afternoons between 13:00 - 15:30, weather permitting.

The emphases in the CMS is not on member ability or capability in model making, but on the owners enjoyment of the hobby. Those that have no modelling experience can be helped along the way by other members.

It is nice to see yesterdays modelling novices handing on their knowledge to the newer and some longer standing club members.
