Welcome to Pontyfelin Bowls Club

Pontyfelin Bowls Club is a Private Members Club formed in 1961 and situated at New Road New Inn Pontypool (Behind the P.I.L.C Social Club and opposite the Fire Station).

The Club was originally the Pilkingtons Bowls Club from 1961 - 1993, then Owens Corning Bowls Club from 1994 - 2002 and finally Pontyfelin Bowls Club from 2003 to the present day.(See club history for further information.)

The Club competes in the Welsh, Monmouthshire and Eastern Valley Leagues and Competitions. League Matches are played on Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons.

Unfortunately the Ladies Section finished in 2022.

New Members

The Club welcomes new members and has Club practice sessions on Tuesday evenings during the season from 5pm for men.

Tuition is available by qualified coaches and all the necessary equipment can be provided.
