Funky Dragon AGM 17th - 19th July 2008
Members of the Torfaen Forum will be attending the AGM in Cardiff. 
The Funky Dragon AGM happens once a year in the Welsh Assembly's building in Cardiff Bay.
The Grand Council and young people from across Wales are able to come together and discuss their views/opinions and then question Ministers during Question Time. The Grand Council members meet Ministers and Officials to discuss how young people from all over Wales can affecr change at a national level.
Time is then spent in the Assembly's chamber to complete elections, declaration of accounts and any other business.

Young people from the South Wales Valleys aged 14-19 years are invited to apply for a place on the all new and exciting ZoomTV.com project which is being supported by The Arts Council of Wales and the Atrium.
Zoom, organisers of Wales' International Young Peoples Film Festival, will be holding a two week intensive programme at the Atrium Building (University of Glamorgan) in Cardiff, starting on the 11th August. You will need to be available for 2 weeks (11th – 15th and 18th – 22nd August, 10am – 4.30pm). Your travel to Cardiff and lunch everyday is included in your place on the project.
Lisa Davies, Director of Zoom says 'The young people will work with industry professionals, using state of art technology in a fantastic new building which is the ideal setting for nurturing creativity. Each young person will have access to a comprehensive digital media experience delivered by Industry Professionals, Zoom and The Atrium Staff. It really will be THE summer project to be part of if you are interested in the media … its going to be hard work, but loads of fun!'
