Monday 3rd September saw the long awaited opening of the new Davis and Sons Estate agents in Blaenafon.
This was the second estate agents shop for local entrepreneur Jay Coleman who opened his first successful shop in Pontypool just over 18 months ago
Jay believes that a more friendly yet high profile approach is key to a business’ success so it was no surprise that the event was attended by Valley’s Radio who broadcast a live show from the shop.
The programme included interviews with local dignitaries, organisations and businesses and played song requests made by other Blaenafon shop owners, their employees and people who shop in the area.
Among those interviewed by Valley’s Radio were Jay Coleman, the Deputy Mayor and Mayoress of Torfaen Nye and Maris James, Jonathan Conick from the Webster.uk.net team, Susan Fiander-Woodhouse of the Blaenafon Cheddar Cheese Company and a representative from BLAST.
In all it was a successful opening day with many local business people and residents calling in to have a chat and meet Mr Jay Coleman, the senior partner and his team, all of whom are dedicated to giving a first class service to the people of Blaenafon. As their slogan says ‘Sold is the word we use most often in the course of a day’.
According to Fred Coleman, "It’s reassuring to know that if you have a property that you would like to purchase, sell or let Davis and Son cover the whole spectrum and really know their business".
Webster.uk.net will be hosting a new Blaenafon and Pontypool focussed Davis and Sons website in the near future.
Jay is no stranger to opening events though as he is the founder and director of the We Are What We Are Musical Theatre Company. Visit this link for more information on their upcoming shows.|
