Farmer for a Day

Sunday 16th December - Junior Farmer for a Day (age 4-8, guardian must attend)
Sunday 23rd December - Farmer for a Day (age 8 - 14

Christmas at the Farm

Christmas at the Farm...our favourite visitor, Father Christmas will be taking residence in his cosy farm grotto and will be looking forward to meeting and greeting you on the following dates between 10am and 4pm:

Sunday 2nd
Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th 
Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th 
Friday 21st, Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd 

Father Christmas will also be with us for our Twinkley Twilight Christmas Celebration evening on Tuesday 11th December between 4pm and 8pm 

Festive Farmhouse Teas

Festive Teas  Our delicious Festive Afternoon Teas are available throughout December and due to demand we are also offering two special themed tea days which we are really excited about!  The perfect way to get the whole family in the Christmas spirit!  Why not visit the Farm and Father Christmas and make a day of it?  Normal admission prices apply: £6.50 per adult and £5.40 per child age 2+ plus £3 per child to see Father Christmas!

Sunday 16th December Magical All Day Tea
Enjoy a scrumptious tea with family & friends in the company of the Soldier and Ballerina of the Nutcracker!  Children can get their face painted!

Sunday 23rd December - All Day Tea with Mother Christmas
Meet Mother Christmas and children can paint their own tree decoration to take home and pop on the tree!

On Tea Days £13.95 per adult & £11.95 per child, on all other dates in December £13.95 per adult & £8.95 per child

Baby & Toddler Tuesdays

Every Tuesday from February to November is  Baby & Toddler day - targeted at infants and pre school children with an array of additional exciting activities.  They will recommence on Tuesday 5th February 2019 - please check the Baby & Toddler Tuesday page of this website for updates. Gwent Guild of Weavers, Spinners & Dyers

The object of the Guild is for the preservation & improvement of craftsmanship in hand weaving, spinning & dyeing for the benefit of the members and the promotion of public awareness in such craftsmanship. Meetings are held at the Farm on Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays from 10am February to December inclusive.  Their events diary for 2018 is as follows:

Saturday 3rd November - Annual General Meeting Exhibition of Felted Pictures

Saturday 1st December - Christmas Craft, Bring a Plate, No Charge

Christmas at Cwmbran Centre

´╗┐This year, Cwmbran Centre customers can expect a festive period like never before. The Centre is being transformed into a unique magical winter wonderland which will play host to a whole range of festive fun for the whole family.

Knit and natter at Cwmbran Library

Cwmbran Library's knit and natter group takes place every fortnight from 2pm until 4pm

Lego Club at Pontypool Library

We bring the bricks, you bring the ideas! Free event for children aged 5-11.

Bobbin Along

All abilities are welcome to join our friendly quilting and sewing group which meets fortnightly
